Use of this website is governed by these Terms & Conditions of Use, the Privacy Policy, any written agreements where applicable, and any notices posted on this website. Information provided to NVDPA is not protected by attorney-client privilege. If legal advice or legal representation is required, the services of a licensed attorney should be sought.

By using the Nevada Document Preparer Association website located at https://nvdpa.org (the “Site”), you agree to follow and be bound by these terms and conditions of use (the “Terms”) and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including United States export and re-export control laws and regulations.

In these Terms, the words “you” and “your” refer to each visitor, registrant, member, or user of the Site. The terms “NVDPA,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Nevada Document Preparer Association. Use of the Site does not create a client relationship or membership unless expressly stated in writing.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically, as NVDPA reserves the right to update or modify them without advance notice. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Site.

YOU AGREE THAT BY USING THE SITE YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE AND LEGALLY ABLE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT.

These Terms require the use of arbitration on an individual basis to resolve disputes and limit the ability to bring claims as class actions or jury trials.

NVDPA provides the Site for educational, informational, and professional association purposes only, including information regarding document preparer standards, ethics, compliance, membership, and industry resources. NVDPA does not prepare legal documents for the public, does not review documents for legal sufficiency, and does not provide legal advice, opinions, or representation.

Information on this Site is general in nature and may not reflect the most current legal developments. Laws vary by jurisdiction and interpretation. No information provided by NVDPA constitutes legal advice.

From time to time, NVDPA may reference attorneys, public resources, or third-party directories. No attorney-client relationship is created through such references.

This Site is not intended to create any attorney-client relationship. Users are responsible for their own legal decisions and compliance obligations.

NVDPA may reference forms, templates, or resources created by third parties. NVDPA does not guarantee their accuracy, applicability, or legal sufficiency. Use of any such materials does not constitute legal advice.

6. Dispute Resolution by Binding Arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or use of the Site shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, except where prohibited by law or where small-claims court jurisdiction applies.

Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable rules. Arbitration will take place in Nevada unless otherwise agreed.

YOU AND NVDPA WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.

7. Additional Terms

Certain areas of the Site or membership offerings may be subject to additional terms. In the event of a conflict, the additional terms control.

8. Reviews, Comments, and User Content

Users may submit content where permitted. You are solely responsible for any content you submit and agree not to post unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or infringing material.

By submitting content, you grant NVDPA a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, display, modify, and distribute the content in connection with association activities.

9. No Warranty

THE SITE AND ALL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” NVDPA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NVDPA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SITE.

Any unsolicited submissions become the property of NVDPA and may be used without compensation.
